How to practice tuning in and tuning out before and after every Kundalini Yoga practice
You must tune in each Kundalini Yoga practice as given by Yogi Bhajan with:
ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO
Chant 3 times
This is the Adi Mantra
meaning:I bow to the Infinite.
I bow to the Divine Teacher that lies at the center of my own heart.
We call it “tuning in” and it is a mantra that both protects us, connects us to the highest source of wisdom, and the golden chain of all teachers before us.
After each kundalini yoga practice you tune out.
This seals the practice
Make the sound of SAT eight times longer than NAM
Meaning: Truth is my Identity/Name
In Kundalini Yoga we use this mantra to tune out and affirm our identity as living truth.
